As visitors number skyrocket in these 'remote mountains' so is pollution.time to slow down even b4 it starts..preserve our beauty..!!a number of Artists /Musicians/DJs showed interest and are willing to contribute..among them, Aztonapai {world dance music}.Woodoo{BKK tribal/didjeridoos/drums},Bakpaker {amazing drumming BKK band},Wild Frequency {which will be a dance reincarnation of "the mighty Funk Harmonix!!}and more plan to join in... i'll update this page ...
time to focus our talent, energy,music ,in aid of a valley loved by many...a place we call 'home'..
proceeds of this event will be donated towards:
#1) installation of Artistically decorated signs "be beautiful..keep this planet beautiful-recycle/no littering",on the road Chiang Mai-Pai, on the road to the hot springs, and in Pai.{maybe people will keep it in their heart globally..!
#2)purchase more recycling bins,promote recycling/no littering .
#3)sponsor a clean up of the trail to Mae Yen waterfall and {possibly} hot spring rd area.the waterfall hike will be great fun.is mostly by/throu the river.plenty of space to celebrate Songkran Water festival playing with fresh water!!!we will also be planting baby trees along the trail..{ bring along horses to carry plants up..n the trash down!!!! ;DD
#4)A request to the Authorities to ban flying lanterns except on new year's eve/Loi Kraton!{preatty but way tooo many to have full time guys..they're landing/burning all over!!}
#5)A request to the Authorities to enforce littering fines!! (including lanterns..!}
#6)A letter to the District Office pointing out 7/11 stores wasting a huge amount of plastic bags!!and to suggest businesses to limit use..
